Compete With Machines: Do We Still Write Articles?
Recently I am trying to use blogs to promote my business websites, almost all the blogs on which I chose to work were based on wordpress, as we all know that wordpress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, afterwards I can use the already built blogs to promote whatever I want, and I think its not a patentable idea, the existence of blog networks already says it all, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.
If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, the real content writing is time and money consuming, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, look at this one, Tire Chains for Your Vehicle, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, though its not a theme focused blog, you’ll find all kinds of different posts there. One more example, good domains, this blog is themed, all topics are about same theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. there are more sites like these out there, but I believe you get the idea. One more important point, in your little net you should have some loose blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, just like this blog, Winch Strap, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
If you have a few established blogs already, you can try to build a few more, use the old ones to promote the new ones, this is the way to build your own blogging network. This is just an idea, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site black listed by major search engines.
